Mother & Son Lawn Care LLC is seeking a licensed, production-focused Maintenance Crew Lead to manage daily maintenance operations and lead a small crew during our active landscaping season.
This is a leadership role for someone who operates with accountability, efficiency, and professional standards. We are building a disciplined, performance-driven team aligned with long-term growth and operational excellence.
Compensation
$27 – $30 per hour

Performance-based bonus opportunities available.
Employment Structure
- Full-time during active production season (approximately March through November, weather dependent).
- If sufficient full-time work is not available, a seasonal layoff will occur in December.
- Winter work (snow operations and limited services) is weather-dependent and not guaranteed.
- Employees must be willing to participate in winter on-call operations to maintain priority consideration for spring rehire.
Spring rehire decisions are based on attendance reliability, production efficiency, work quality, professionalism, and winter availability/responsiveness.

Position Responsibilities
- Lead 1–3 crew members on daily maintenance routes
- Execute lawn maintenance, edging, trimming, and detailed property care
- Care for garden beds including shrubbery, plants, soil care, and overall property appearance
- Perform occasional pet waste clean-up as needed
- Apply fertilizer and pesticide treatments in compliance with Massachusetts regulations
- Maintain daily production targets aligned with company labor-hour standards
- Conduct equipment inspections and enforce safety compliance
- Assist project crews when needed, including landscaping projects, junk removals, and power washing
- Represent the company professionally with clients and on job sites
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years professional landscaping experience
- Proven crew leadership experience

Active Massachusetts Pesticide Applicator License (required)
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Experience operating commercial landscaping equipment
- Strong time management and accountability skills
- Willingness to work within a structured seasonal layoff model
